Japanese IT company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Recruiter in NYC.

【Summary】
This position stations at the HQ Office. However, might be assigned for Telecommuting as Hybrid, depends on the business needs.
This position provides full cycle recruiting process to fill vacant dispatching positions as needed by clients.


【Job Description】
• Identifies current and future hiring needs and determines qualification criteria for each position by communicating with project manager.
• Advertises job openings on job boards.
• Maintains strong relationship with job board vendors.
• Responsible for the updating and the accuracy of PCR, the company's candidate database.
• Stays abreast of current trends in staffing and recruiting and updates staff as to findings.
• Sources candidates through various online channels including the company’s website, Dice, Indeed, etc. as well as recruiting companies.
• Routinely contacts candidates for future and present positions and to maintain strong relationship and updates conversations proceedings on PCR notes.
• Screens resumes and applications and updates candidates’ profile on hiring processes.
• Interviews and evaluates candidates on initial stages by phone or video conference or in person.
• Summarizes candidate’s information qualified by phone interview and introduces them to project manager.
• Attends interviews for candidates and project manager as needed.
• Analyzes interview feedback from project manager and coordinates next interview process with candidate or provides the interview feedback when appropriate.
• Answers candidates’ queries regarding the application process.
• Submits Job Posting Update report to project manager twice a week.
• Trains new hired recruiters with company’s hiring process.
• In charge of Position meetings for the company.
• Participates in recruiting industry seminars to update staff.
• Constantly sources for new options in the candidate selection process: social media, job boards etc.
Miscellaneous
• Handles incoming/outgoing phone calls of company’s main line and office visitors.
• Performs, collects and updates necessary documentation, filing and listing.
• Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning & printing, sending/receiving fax and letters etc.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to manager(s) and works to resolve those issues.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by superior/management.
• Domestic travel by automotive may be required.


【Qualifications】
• Must be bilingual in Japanese/English
• a College Diploma ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One -Three years’ experience of recruiting.
• General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, scanner, personal computer, calculator, etc.
• Software includes the use of Windows operating system and MS Office applications.
• Familiar with various social media recruitment strategies and IT technologies
• Ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
• Must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
• Strong judgment and decision making skills to choose the right candidate for the job.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress etc.)
• Strong phone and email communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and clients.
• Good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions of the unit within the Company.
• Highly organized and good planning abilities.
• Proven ability to work with deadlines.
• Extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Basic PC skills (Word and Excel.)


【Work Location】
Midtown, NYC

【Status】
Exempt. Full Time/ Perm with 90 Days Introductory Period.

【Work Hours】
9a.m. – 5p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays.
Due to the assignments, before/after the Regular work hours, and/or the Standard hours of Lunch Time might be necessary to work.

【Pay Rate】
$58,500 – 60K(DOE)
