Position: the company seeks a strategic Logistic Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of an organization’s logistics management function, reporting to VP, Sales.

Company: The company’s products are used in mobile devices, other consumer products, automotive electronics and industrial equipment.
The company is based in Tokyo, Japan with sales offices in USA , Germany, China, Taiwan and South Korea. The company has manufacturing sites in Japan, China, Taiwan and the Philippines.
Creates new products by utilizing our advanced technical strength, manufacturing capacity, and quality in the automotive, medical, and industrial fields, as well as personal devices including smartphones, tablets, and wearable.

Responsibilities:
● Communication window with Logistics companies
- TLGA, other Logistics, Boat, Airline, Broker, and Insurance(logistics) companies
- Inventory check arrangement with Warehouse companies
• Lead new logistics companies’ selection
- Contact, MTG arrangement with candidate
- Condition offer, Quotation receive/negotiate and Confirmation
- Comparison with all candidates and Report JDIDA managements and related members
- Nomination contact to selected companies and smooth ramp-up support
• Negotiate price/rate and payment with Logistics companies
- Comparison/Validity with other companies
- Negotiation and Agreement with Logistics companies
- Monthly/Quarterly quantity review with JDIDA Sales
Then, check invoice from Logistics companies
Report the results and financial recommendation to Sales and Accounting team
•Proposals for new logistics route/method, Boat/Air ratio and optimization to JDIDA and JDI
•Communicate/Negotiate/Propose with JDI's "Logistics", "Business Unit", "Accounting" and other groups for logistics items
•Control and review of old obsolete or scrap product. IATF requirement.
•Tariff mitigation. Review of production locations to minimize Tariff/tax to JDIDA depending on geo-political environment
•Management of supplier declarations. Ex: Child labor labs, RoHS, prop 67, etc.


Qualifications:
•Degree in Logistics preferable or comparable work experience
•5+ years of professional experience in the field of internal logistics / supply chain management, ideally in the automotive industry
•Understanding of complex, internal, and external processes
•Independent and structured way of working as well as resilience and a high degree of social competence
•Proficiency of MS Office and SAP, good English skills, both spoken and in writing
•High level of quality awareness and commitment, being a team player
•Excellent communication skills across all hierarchical levels
•Spanish, Japanese speaking skills a plus
