Summary:
This position is responsible for business planning, development and execution of growth strategy in the unit as well as contributing to the growth of the business and increasing profits by performing sales and marketing functions.

Responsibilities:
Performs Business Planning Functions
• Create new investment and business alliance opportunities by analyzing and assessing multiple industries.
• Formulate growth strategies and support sales teams.
• Reporting of North American market trends and business to Marubeni Tokyo HQ.
• Arrange development meetings on a bimonthly basis and check the status of each development work and set up the next strategy and tactics after discussion with sales departments.
• Identify opportunities to add value to strategic business projects.

Perform Sales Functions
• Play strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on customer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities for the business.
• Participate in sales meetings.
• Prepare sales reports for Management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Perform Marketing Functions
• Identify areas of improvement in the business’s marketing strategies, identifying opportunities and understanding the market and competitive environment
• Develop and deliver presentations.
• Identify and follow up on all sales leads through market research, inquiries received, and referrals from
• suppliers or distributors
• Establish, enhance, and maintain relations with current and potential customers.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor`s degree (Business, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 to 8 years of chemical sales or technical experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong capability to multitask
• Excellent follow-up skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
• Self-motivated and effective in a team setting and individually
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment
