Japanese company seeks a Sales Manager.

Sales Manager for assigned accounts on the East Coast, for example -such as US Major Supermarkets. The ideal candidate would be someone that worked in a similar position with a consumer goods company or broker such as Acosta Sales and Marketing / in a Business Manager position.

This Company goes to business using a network of Food Brokers, such as Acosta Sales and Marketing and Advantage Sales. We are looking to add a new member to the team.

Essential Job function
1 Proven ability to execute an effective marketing & sales strategy; can analyze the competitive landscape, define a course of action, and meet the needs of brokers/ customers
2 Ability to forecast and communicate monthly volume and spending information
3 Intermediate computer skills, knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint required, along with the ability to understand/analyze syndicated data including experience using IRI / Nielsen database.
4 Should be a highly motivated and organized self-starter who strives for excellence and thrives in an independent work environment; should also possess strong planning skills and be disciplined in time management
5 Manages and supervises broker communications
6 Manage account receivables for assigned customer on a timely basis.
7 Check the delivery and reimbursement from clients

Requirement:
Must have a US valid driver's license.
Must be familiar with the NYC area.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to communicate(read, write, speak) in English
Must have at least 10 years of experience in sales in the food industry.

Location: New York City
Hybrid option available (2 days work in an office, 3 days work from home)
