A Japanese IT company is seeking an Global Platform Business Analyst

◆ Position:
Global Platform Business Analyst
Business Analyst for the company’s Global Platform acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves analyzing and understanding KWE’s business processes, defining the business requirements, and collaborating with the technical teams for implementing the technical solutions. Business Analyst ensures the current technical solutions are aligned with the business needs and objectives, and continuously seeks opportunities for improvement. Business Analyst also ensures the solutions are implemented in a way that the maintenance and user support can properly be provided for the long term. In various Global Platform projects, Business Analyst is responsible for defining the requirements, communicating the requirements to technical teams, executing the testing, and coordinating the release. Business Analyst facilitates the external and internal communications with various parties throughout a project for the successful project completion.

◆ Business Impact:
Analyze the business processes and defines the business requirements for implementing technical solutions in our Global Platforms that meet our company’s (parent company's) business needs and objectives.

◆ Description:
・Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
・Involves analyzing and understanding company’s business processes, defining business requirements, and collaborating with technical teams for implementing technical solutions.
・Ensure current technical solutions are aligned with business needs and objectives, and continuously seeks opportunities for improvement.
・Also ensures solutions are implemented in a way that maintenance and user support can properly be provided for long term.
・Responsible for defining requirements, communicating the requirements to technical teams, executing the testing, and coordinating the release.
・Facilitates external and internal communications with various parties throughout a project for the successful completion.

◆ Technical Skills:
Data analysis with SQL and Excel.
Project Tracking tool (Jira).

◆ Verbal / Written Skills:
Excellent communication skills for taking care of external
Internal communications with various parties.

◆ Teamwork / Adaptability:
Collaboration and information / knowledge sharing required.
Quick adaptability required due to constant changes with systems.

◆ Shift Work / Travel: Possibly.

◆ Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

◆ General Experience: 3 ~ 5 years’ (mid-level) supporting global 3PL / Freight forwarding / NVOCC business.

◆ Specific Experience: CargoWise / SAP / OTM beneficial, but not mandatory.

◆ When Needed: Immediate.
