JOB PURPOSE:
Manage and coordinate the activities of all operations within the company while promoting an enjoyable company culture and identifying risks and opportunities to maximize both efficiency and revenue.
JOB DUTIES:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all departments which include but are not limited to Production, Quality, Maintenance and Shipping.
• Give ideas on how to improve quality and minimize downtimes/waste.
• Have techniques to maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Maximize overall production output from different shifts with minimal management resources by implementing cross- training plant wide.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Plan and establish a safety training program by coordinating with internal / external departments.
• Ensure that all employees are following safety procedures and following clean room dress code.
• Maintain SOPs for different work processes and make sure all controlled documents are up to date.
• Must meet quality standard for services and evaluations of customer satisfaction.
• Monitors EDI status through supplier/integral portal and communicates customer sales volume to management team in order to accurately plan material availability and production capacity.
• Recommend suggestions/solutions where feasible and practical.
• Ensure shipments and deliveries follow customer quality guidelines and packaging agreements.
• Assist in preparation of Inventory Count and reviews month-end inventory report to compare current inventory levels of both raw materials and WIP against theoretical data.
• Oversees the shipping and receiving operations of all production models, prototype parts and direct materials in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws/or regulations.
• Maintain lab and test equipment including calibration and needed equipment preventive maintenance.
• Responsible to help establish, develop, and maintain quality standards of production parts.
• Maintain general building and assist in ordering parts necessary to complete maintenance repairs.
• Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with customers, vendors and agencies.
• Knowledge on all manufacturing equipment
• Perform other related duties as required by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• This person must possess excellent communication / people skills, both verbal and written.
• Display good work habits by having regular attendance and the ability to work well with others.
• Analytical thinking skills are a must. Must possess some mechanical abilities.
• Must be able to use a Personal Computer with monitor or laptop, calculator, copy machine,
telephone, fax, voice mail, email, printer and use Word and Excel programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work in a climate changing work environment.
• Some on the job training will be performed.
• Ability to climb ladder when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.
• Be able to meet deadlines through effective time management skills
• Must be able to work off shift as necessary.
