Japanese trading company is seeking a Controls Engineer!
As a Controls Engineer II with us, you'll collaborate with automation professionals, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with cutting-edge technology. This is an opportunity to refine your skills, tackle exciting challenges, and make a real impact in a dynamic true teamwork environment.
What You’ll Do:
Design: Shape the future of automation by designing, implementing, and documenting controls systems
for a variety of automated equipment such as robotics, AGV’s, vision systems, PLC’s, HMI’s, etc.
Problem-Solving: Dive into the heart of technical challenges, programming robots, writing PLC code from
the ground up, working with various electrical control devices, and more.
Innovation: Program machines, power them up, and debug, ensuring they meet specifications using
proven techniques and approaches.
Other responsibilities: Development of project bill of materials, contributing to scope and specification
meetings, and coordinating with our technical build group.

What You’ll Bring:
Educational Background: Whether you hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, an Associate's
degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, your passion for controls engineering is
what counts.
Experience: With 5 or more years of related experience under your belt, you're ready to hit the ground
running and contribute from day one.
Skills You’ll Have:
Versatility: From PLC's to HMI's, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, and Vision Systems, your
experience spans the spectrum of automation technologies.
CAD Proficiency: Whether it's AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or other schematic design
software, you're comfortable creating electrical schematics and layouts.
Technical Expertise: You have a knack for understanding electricity and industrial control circuits,
developing electrical schematic drawings, programming PLC’s and HMI’s, and ensuring seamless
integration at every stage.
Other Details:
Travel: Opportunities to visit customer sites up to 10% - 20% of your time.
Salary: $90-120K + bonus
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm
