Japanese company is seeking a Korean/English biligual techinical sales representative. The candidate must be able to speak Korean and English.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Your main task is to be stationed at current customer(s) location(s) to manage inventory, seek out and understand problems, and relay customer requests to internal partners. You will report, communicate, and consult with supervisors and internal team members as appropriate.
• Visit the Michigan office occasionally to perform necessary tasks.
• Learn and understand our product catalog and how they are used and analyzed.
• Research potential customers (processes/procedures, customer’s products, and trends, etc.).
• Identify new business opportunities, obtain request for quotes (RFQs), RFQ process, deliver RFQ response, follow-up with customers, and communicate status of new opportunity within the company as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships by providing timely, accurate, and professional communication with customers.
• Expedite the resolution of customer’s problems, including technical problems, and address complaints professionally to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Create and maintain contact lists of customers and prospects.
• Ensure all engineering changes made to products are correctly priced and submitted to the customer on a timely basis by utilizing the internal systems and procedures.
• Meet with customers on a regular basis to review pricing and design changes
• submitted to ensure customer confirmation/approval of pricing. Manage and negotiate the financials of the account such as payments, past due receivables, freight, packaging, and return shipments for non-conforming goods.
• Communicates frequently with customers, engineers, sales team, cost estimators, and managers to stay current with information relating to pricing, design, program issues, part issues, contract terms and conditions, and all other customer issues.
• Perform other tasks assigned the supervisor, which are reasonably related to the above.

----Education---
• Bachelor’s degree (Business, chemistry, chemical engineering preferred)

---Preferred Experience---
• Sales or technical service experience: 5 years
• College graduates with a degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualifications will be considered, even without prior sales experience.

---Skills/Abilities---
• Comfortable asking for help when it is needed
• Chemical material knowledge (High School Level)
• Fluent in verbal and written Korean
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Strong communication skills to clearly describe problems and solutions to internal and external partners
• Able to identify roadblocks and work through them with customers and prospects
• Capable of writing business letters, travel reports, meeting minutes, etc.
• PC skills: Email, Microsoft Word, Excel (Make tables, graphs, charts), and Power Point
• Able to perform presentations to internal and external partners
• Domestic business travel available with short notification
