Job Summary
As an Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily accounting operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Banking and Financial Management:
Manage various bank accounts and build relationships with banking representatives.
Prepare presentations for banks and other external stakeholders.
Budgeting and Performance Management:
Develop budgets and track performance for the U.S. and Canada operations.
Create and manage medium-term business plans and KPIs for the U.S. and Canada.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
Manage deals, including valuation calculations and related activities.
Parent Company Support:
Assist in creating IR materials for the parent company.
Report on U.S. and Canadian budget performance and analyses.
Support consolidated budget preparation for the parent company.
Accounting Support:
Provide assistance to the accounting department as needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & 5-7 years of Finance Management experience
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP. Understanding of financial audit process and requirements
Additional Requirements
Travel:Occasional travel required (primarily within Japan, the U.S., and Canada).
Meetings with Japan:Participate in meetings with Japan approximately 0–2 times per month (scheduled between 6 PM–9 PM Chicago time).
Experience:Not suitable for candidates without prior experience; at least a few years of relevant experience required.
Work Environment:The majority of the workforce (700 employees in the U.S. and Canada) consists of non-Japanese speakers. Candidates must be comfortable working in such an environment.
