【Common Responsibilities】
(1) To be responsible for ensuring information security awareness with staff, users and customers.
(2) To be responsible for preparing and overseeing the project budget.
(3) To be responsible for observing/applying internal or external regulatory/compliance within the
assigned division.
(4) To be responsible for the development and implementation of division/department strategy, goals and
objectives, project content and priorities.
(5) To coordinate problem solving, conflict resolution, severity escalation, and task priority of outcome
and result measurement.

【Purpose of the Position/Job Summary】
Under the direction of the IT Planning Division/Department Managers, the IT Planning Consultant shall
have the following duties: IT Planning, IT Compliance and IT Security related tasks, PMO related tasks, and
other related work as required.
- IT Planning: The incumbent shall provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration and
related support regarding IT planning for customers and MIBS.
- IT Compliance & IT Security related: The incumbent shall provide consultation, documentation,
coordination, administration and related support regarding IT Compliance & IT Security for customers
and MIBS.
- PMO related: The incumbent shall provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration
and other PMO related support to Division Managers and Project Managers within MIBS.
- Other: If applicable, the incumbent shall handle other tasks that are considered appropriate by the
management, such as IT Internal Control related tasks.


【Key Accountabilities】
1. Common Accountabilities - 50%
(1) Responsible for ensuring information security awareness with staff, users and
customers.
(2) Responsible for observing/applying internal or external regulatory/compliance within
the assigned division.
(3) Coordinate problem solving, conflict resolution, severity escalation, task priority of
outcome and result measurement.
(4) Timely reporting and information sharing to/with superiors.
(5) Prepare or supervise the preparation of special studies and reports
(6) Responsible for studying and updating professional knowledge in the area of assigned
missions.
(7) Actively contribute to completion of team goals and assigned tasks.
(8) Clearly communicate information, ideas, or instructions verbally and in writing.
(9) Timely timesheet entries

2. ITP Division Specific - 25%
(1) Provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration and related
support regarding IT Internal Control for customers and MIBS.
(2) Provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration and related
support regarding IT planning for customers and MIBS.
(3) Provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration and related
support regarding IT Compliance & IT Security for customers and MIBS.
(4) Provide consultation, documentation, coordination, administration and other PMO
related support to Division Managers and Project Managers within MIBS.
(5) Handle other tasks that are considered appropriate by the management.

3. Project Management - 25%
(1) Responsible for Developing and Managing Projects and their Cost, Time and Scope.
(2) Responsibilities including followings:

b. Help define project scope, goals and deliverables

d. Collect and manage project team
e. Manage budget
f. Allocate project resources
g. Create schedule and project timeline
h. Track deliverables
i. Support and direct team

l. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
m. Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs

【Knowledge and Skills】
o Required: Bilingual (English and Japanese) in oral and written communication skills.
o Required: Knowledge of principles and methods of strategic technical planning organizing and managing resources, budgets and policy parameters; principles processes and techniques of project management; analyzing and solving problems and developing recommendations and solutions; reporting management skills and working effectively with managers, clients, vendors, peers and subordinates and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
o Optional: Experiences and knowledge in governance, compliance, and cybersecurity are plus.

【Relevant Experience and Education】
o Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the information technology environment in the field of systems engineering, analysis, and business acumen.
