Japanese chemical industry company is seeking for a Japanese Bilingual Sales Engineer.
Title: Sales Engineer representative
• The primary tasks are to achieve your sales targets, to that end, build strategies,act, develop new customers and attain goals.
•Understand the products, their usages and analysis methods.
•Understand potential customers (processes/procedures, customer’s products and trends, etc.).
•Develop plans to identify/pursue new business, and implement those plans into Customer Strategies and Action Plans.
•Identify new business opportunities, obtain RFQ’s, lead RFQ process, deliver RFQ response, follow-up with customers, and communicate status of new opportunity within us.
•Establish and develop new customers and maintain positive business and customer relationships, including timely and professional communication, especially through
conversation with the customer.
•Forecast existing business.
•Expedite the resolution of customer problems, including technical problems, and complaints to maximize satisfaction; never minimize a customer problem and always make sure that the customer’s problem is your problem that the needs to be solved. Also perform the necessary tests and create a report.
•Develop and maintain customer and potential customer contact lists.
•Awareness of customer satisfaction metrics and issues.
•Ensure all engineering changes made to products are correctly priced and submitted to the customer on a timely basis by utilizing the internal systems and
procedures in place for communicating changes
•Meet with customers on a regular basis to review pricing and design changes
submitted to ensure customer confirmation/approval of pricing.
•Manage and negotiate the financials of the account such as payments, past due receivables, freight, packaging, returned shipments for non-conforming goods.
•Communicates frequently with engineering, sales, cost estimators, customers, and managers to ensure current status relative to pricing, design, program issues, part
issues, contract terms and conditions and all other customer issues.
BS-Chemical or related degree
Chemical material knowledge and handling experience
Native and strong English communication skills (reading, writing, conversation)
Strong negotiation skill
Sales position experience: 5 years or more
Good communication capable internal and external
