General Position Summary

General Position Summary The Electromechanical Engineer design and develop equipment and machinery that use both electrical and mechanical technology and will be a key interface between the Company’s product line and support organization in terms of operations, reliability, quality, test engineering, and procurement. Your responsibility will include but not limited to applied research, design, development, evaluation, manufacturing, and documentation of products or systems.
Essential Job Functions
● Mechanically design and analyze systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals.
● Act as the technical face to customers for all pre-sales activities for RF products.
● Electrically diagnose issues of basic scope with design, field performance, reliability and test yields of products and recommend/implement corrective actions to address.
● Follow key engineering procedures including the Product Development and Engineering Change Order processes.
● Troubleshooting of complex systems electrically.
● Manage many aspects of programs or projects and the correspond administrative documentation and paperwork.
● Take a project leadership role in cross-functional project teams to execute upon new product developments.
● Participate in the finalization of documentation required to ensure proper production of volume products based on optimizations done in the development process.
● Other duties and projects as assigned and developed.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Science or related; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
● Familiarity with 3D-CAD(ICAD), ADS and Smith Chart for engineering, SPC, ALT, DVT, ESS, HALT, HASS, GRR and Lean Six sigma for quality and reliability.
● In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, attention-to-detail, highly organized, and personal commitment to quality.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result oriented growth business and effectively time manage and prioritize.
Work Environment
● Standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment, a busy lab, and/or clean room 95% of the time.
● Must be able to travel 5% of the time including both international and domestic to remote sites, customers and suppliers.
