Detail: Japanese IT company seeks Project Leader (Server).
Responsibilities
• Ensure an outstanding level of customer service by providing direct IT support to customers, and supporting projects under Project Manger’s supervision.
• Promote excellent customer service, effective response times, and provide expert insights into general support issues.
• Enforce quality of service guidelines for dealing with customers, completing services, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Travel to customer locations and data centers for physical onsite work.
• Communicate with external vendors to manage projects.
• Communicate with distributors and manufacturers to troubleshoot issues.
• Analyzing and identifying trends in issue reporting, and devising preventative solutions. Expected to offer suggestions for any noted process improvements, and develop the new procedures.
• Investigate suspected security events or vulnerabilities reported by PSOC and CSIRT teams.
• Other duties as assigned by Department Director.
The Ideal Candidate possesses:
• Experience in dealing with difficult interpersonal situations regarding support issues.
• Analytical thought process.
• Capability of working effectively based on management direction, as well as within teams, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal technology teams and users.
• Strong organizational skills, and sense of work quality and services improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• MCP, AWS certifications are a plus.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to support customers, report to upper management, as well as to effectively work with the team.
• Business level Spanish or Japanese language skills are preferred, but not required.
Experience
• Design and implementation: Virtual Machine (vSphere, Hyper-V), Virtual Desktop, Windows Server (Active Directory, File Server, Exchange, MS365), Unix Server (Redhat, SMTP server), Cloud Solution (AWS), Authentication Infrastructure (SSO, ADFS),.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills: Active Directory, GPO, Authentication, Access Privilege, Mail Protocol (SMTP, MAPI over HTTP).
• Strong background in information security.
