Japanese trading company seeks a Sales Representative .
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
We are seeking a Sales Representative with experience in the seafood market. They must be fluent in Japanese. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with restaurants, grocery stores, distributors, and other businesses in the seafood industry. This will a full in-person position and this hire must be comfortable working on a small team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sales to restaurants (restaurant chains, etc.), grocery stores;
o Currently focused on Asian market but looking to expand in coming years;
• Japanese bilingual preferred;
• Develop and manage a portfolio of B2B clients, ensuring their seafood supply needs are met;
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned territory;
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers;
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability;
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment;
• Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of sales experience in seafood;
• Fluent in Japanese;
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in seafood, food distribution, or related industries;
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets;
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.

Compensation/Benefits:
• Salary Range: $70-80,000
• Annual Bonus – Approximately 5% of annual salary
