Japanese Automotive Tier 1 Supplier is looking for a dependable Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations. This role includes core accounting tasks such as month-end closing, payroll processing, and communication with financial institutions. The successful candidate may also be tasked with other related administrative or accounting duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly closing activities.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Handle routine communications with banks.
• Support general accounting operations.
• Handle other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirement:
• Requires minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting.
• Requires min. 3 years of experience, 5 or more years of experience is desirable.
• Japanese language skill preferred.
• Must be able to adhere to a strict level of confidentiality.
• Knowledge of accounting practices including international accounting standards, general ledger, and budget.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local accounting laws and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet, Payroll systems, accounting systems.
