Overview:
A Japanese company is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and support the daily activities of our sales team. This role will play a key part in achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth through new client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise, support, and manage the activities of assigned sales representatives to ensure optimal performance.
-Develop, implement, and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor individual and team success.
-Drive business development initiatives, including the acquisition of new clients and markets.
-Participate in and lead web-based meetings with Japanese counterparts, approximately three times per week (both client-specific and general meetings).
-Train, coach, and develop sales staff to enhance skills, product knowledge, and performance.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree
-Experience in the factory automation industry.
-Proven experience in sales management or a related role.
-Strong leadership and team development skills.
-Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable strategies.
-Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese required.
-Familiarity with CRM tools and digital collaboration platforms.
