Detail: Japanese laser-based cutting and welding machine manufacturer seeks an Assistant Manager of Servide Department.

Reports to: Service Manager
Salary: $83k
POSITION SUMMARY:
1. Budget Management 40%
・Prepare Service budgets for each fiscal year including internal expense budget for Service team
・Scheduling Service Visits, building Quotation for the service visit
・Review and Instruct Service reports
・ Analyze monthly & yearly expenses and revenue of total service by subordinates
2. Service tech scheduling 25%
・ Coordinate the service tech schedule based on the requests from customers, sales staff, and K-NTC.
・ Analyze service tech skills, plan and execute the service schedule
3. Tool Management 5%
・Execute annual tool calibration, including building the annual budget.
・Regular inventory checks
4. Weekly report management of service techs 10%
・Create summary report weekly by consolidating subordinates weekly activity reports that provided by service teches
・Report must be in Japanese.(using translation tools is OK)
・Monthly & Quarterly summary report on service status, sales results, etc. in Japanese & English
5. Planning on Training at KNTC 5%
・Build/prepare the yearly budget for training that provided by KNTC
6. Customer relation Support for Parts Sales and Spindle Rebuild team 5%
7. Service & Safety meeting 5%
・Weekly service meetings to keep records, and involve Safety meeting with Komatsu Group
8. Showroom Management 5%
Instruct service staff to maintain Showroom in the best condition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
・University graduate or qualification holder. Experience working with machine tools or similar equipment is preferred.
・Ability to communicate in Japanese. Ability to write reports in Japanese.
・Excellent customer service, listening and verbal communication skills. Self starter as well as team builder.
・Must have knowledge of computer software and skills to improve work efficiency and create management information using Office365, etc.
・Job management skill. (Supervise sub-contractors and/or customer’s maintenance personnel.)
・Ability to travel up to 30%, with some overnight travel. Flexibility to travel on short notice as well.
