Compensation: $70K- up (depending on experience and qualifications) and Annual bonus may be awarded based on company performance

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed U.S. Customs Broker to serve as the lead
compliance officer for our import operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing all
aspects of customs clearance and regulatory compliance, including the management of our
CTPAT program.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee U.S. import customs clearance in compliance with CBP regulations (19 CFR)
Review and submit entry filings and ISF documents
Establish and maintain internal customs control procedures and provide staff training
Serve as the company’s Licensed Officer on record with CBP
Liaise with CBP, FDA, USDA and other relevant authorities
Advise on HTS classification, valuation, country of origin, and duty minimization
strategies
Manage the company’s CTPAT program, including validations, internal audits, and
documentation
Must have hands-on experience with CTPAT revalidation and renewal procedures
Coordinate with internal departments including forwarding and operations
Qualifications:
Valid U.S. Customs Broker License (required)
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in U.S. customs brokerage
Strong knowledge of HTS, 19 CFR, and CBP procedures
Experience using ABI software (e.g., Descartes, WiseTech, etc.)
Proven experience with CTPAT management, including renewal and validation
processes
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Business-level English required; Japanese proficiency a plus, but not mandatory
