Job Title: Business SME for Loan System Enhancement
Project Start Date: 7/1/2025 - 9/30/2025 (to be extended as per project end date, date is currently TBD)
Project Duration: 3 months (to be extended as per project end date, date is currently TBD)
Rate: $ 60/hour
Position Summary:
As a project member involved in the enhancement of the Loan system (LoanIQ), the Business SME (Subject Matter Expert) will be responsible for creating documentation such as operational flow charts, operation manuals, and administrative operational rules. The SME will also facilitate consensus-building on the new operations among branch stakeholders and prepare migration data to ensure a smooth business transition.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the Business SME, your specific responsibilities will include the following tasks to support and lead the project:
Business Operation Flows & Manuals
• Review existing operation flow charts for Syndicated Loans (as Agent) and Bilateral Loans, and identify gaps related to non-Agented loans. Create new operation flow charts for non-Agented loans.
• Review and validate the flows with users from the Loan Department, and revise them to reflect the new operational processes.
• Facilitate the resolution of any issues identified during the flow chart review process.
• Create operation manuals incorporating screen captures of the new system.
Migration
• Convert data extracted from existing Excel sheets and PDFs into a standardized Excel format for uploading into the new system."
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience working for a financial institution or consulting firm or system integration company
• Bank industry expertise
• Knowledge of loan business processes/workflows
• Experience of working on documentating Operation Flow Charts and understanding.
• Experience of engaging to system integration especially for UAT and Migration phase.
• Skills to extract/transform existing data so that it can be inserted into the new system.
• Coordination skill to obtain a consensus among various stakeholders including user side as well as system side
• Basic understanding of system integration and documentation of business requirement desired
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)"
Desired Qualifications:
• Project/program management
• Experience working on Loan Servicing Software (Loan IQ, ACBS, Sopra etc.) Implementation Project as Business Consultant
• Knowledge of Loan Servicing's data model
• Experience of data migration
• Understanding of system configuration table structures
