Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Japanese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
simultaneously translating written and spoken communication from English to Japanese and Japanese to English. The role requires
not only language proficiency but also a deep understanding of cultural nuances to ensure accurate and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
•Translate documents, presentations, emails, and other forms of communication from English to Japanese and vice versa.
•Interpret during meetings, conferences, and phone calls as needed.
•Ensure that the translated content is culturally appropriate and maintains the original meaning and tone.
•Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
•Collaborate with other team members to support cross-cultural communication.
•Conduct research on industry-specific terminology to ensure clear and precise translation.
•Meet deadlines and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.

Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Japanese Translator or in a similar role.
•Excellent proficiency in Japanese and [Source Language] (both written and spoken).
•Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt translations accordingly.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Proficiency in using translation software/tools is a plus.
•Optional: Any relevant certification such as JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N1 is preferred.
•Must be able to keep items confidential at all times, information should be shared only on a need to know basis

Preferred Skills:
•Experience working in Japanese OEM manufacture (if applicable).
•Knowledge of technical, legal, medical, or business terminology (if applicable).
•Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
