### Job Responsibilities

- **Customer Service at JFK Airport:**
Handle customer inquiries, reservations, ticket confirmation, check-in, baggage handling upon arrival and departure, and complaint resolution.

- **Pre- and Post-Flight Operations:**
Prepare for flight departures, liaise with other airlines, manage in-flight meal arrangements, confirm special passenger requests, address lost baggage issues, monitor lounge and inventory control, and coordinate catering services.

- **General Affairs Duties:**
Order and prepare necessary airport supplies and documents, compile monthly and other operational reports.

- **Other Tasks:**
Provide support during flight delays.

- **Oversight of Contracted Staff:**
Train and monitor contract staff and evaluate service standards.

Workplace culture emphasizes collaboration and teamwork. The role involves physical tasks such as assisting customers, handling baggage, walking, standing, and lifting. It also demands effective communication skills and proficiency in PC-based systems for check-ins, report writing, and coordination with colleagues, customers, and external partners. ### Employment Conditions

- Salary: $25.55–$26.48 per hour
- Bonus: not provided
- Working Hours: Five days per week (Sunday to Saturday), eight-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM
Shifts may include early morning, late night, weekends, and holidays
Includes an unpaid lunch break
- Overtime: May be required depending on flight schedules
Overtime compensation applies for hours beyond 40 per week
- Probationary Period: 90 days from hire
- Benefits:
1. Paid Vacation: 80 hours/year, increases with tenure (first year: 6.66 hours/month after probation)
2. Sick Leave: Total 48 hours/year (available after probation, prorated based on hours worked)
