Position Overview
Japanese manufacture is seeking a dynamic DEX Manager to lead digital transformation and operational improvement initiatives within our factory operations. This role blends IT expertise with hands-on process optimization, including potential use of AI technologies. After driving improvements, the manager will also oversee factory operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in digital transformation (DX) and business process improvement
• Comfortable working on factory-side enhancements (e.g., PLC systems)
• Experience using AI for operational improvements is a strong plus
• Willing to take on factory operations management after initial improvements
• Strong IT skills prioritized over factory-specific knowledge (factory experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
Required Skills & Experience
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in factory process improvement
(e.g., assistant factory manager or similar role)
• Fluent in English; Japanese language not required
(Must be culturally adaptable to Japanese corporate environment)
• Prior experience in a Japanese company is a plus
• Strong interest in business improvement and ability to handle diverse tasks
• Generalist mindset with flexibility across functions
