Position Title: Procurement & Parts Management Specialist
Location: Nevada (On-site, with some coordination with HQ and suppliers)


Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Parts Management Specialist to support a large-scale manufacturing client in the U.S. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to build efficient procurement and inventory systems. The successful candidate will act as the main liaison between engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth parts management and supply chain flow.

Key Responsibilities
Support Parts Procurement
Assist with sourcing and procuring highly specialized and custom-designed machine parts.
Identify equivalent components and propose alternatives based on cost and lead time considerations.
Cross-check customer specifications, standards, and drawings to ensure accuracy.

Parts Identification & Digital Registration
Work closely with client engineers to identify spare parts requirements from machine bills of material and on-site equipment.
Register parts into the company’s proprietary digital catalogue/master file.
Ensure all data entries meet engineering and system standards.

Establish Procurement Workflow
Design and implement an efficient parts procurement process through digital catalogue and purchasing software.
Collaborate with client’s local procurement and engineering teams to streamline ordering procedures.

Support Procurement Localization
Facilitate communication between U.S. operations and global headquarters to reduce decision-making time and costs.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at both local and HQ levels.
Utilize Japanese/English bilingual skills to support seamless communication.

Stock Planning & Inventory Strategy
Analyze current stock management issues and recommend improvements.
Develop stocking strategies to minimize shortages and optimize inventory.
Support implementation of best practices in distribution and stock control.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in procurement, parts management, or supply chain operations.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial/mechanical parts (experience in manufacturing or machinery industry a plus).
Experience with digital procurement/catalogue systems.
Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise with engineers, procurement teams, and management.
Bilingual Japanese/English skills highly preferred.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
