Duties/Responsibilities:
● Trains and provides guidance to the entrustment company staff
● Welcomes arriving passengers at the gate and assists them with immigration and customs as needed
● Assists customers with baggage issues
● Perform check in duties such as checking baggage, verifying and clearing travel documents, and processing excess baggage charges
● Performs departure gate duties such as crew escort, gate announcements, seat upgrades, etc. to ensure smooth boarding process
● Performs Travel Assistance Service duties by escorting passengers, including minors
● Issues and responds to Service Irregularity Reports and catering reports
● Performs flight preparation including a takeover of next day flight, confirm flight information, confirm seat adjustments, verifying special cases detailed on the briefing sheet, printing the seat map, and confirming dead head counts from crew count sheets
● Carries out Shipside officer duties by coordinating all matters related to safety and smoothness of the flight handling.
● Perform catering duties including meal order, invoice handling, and meal check.
● General administrative duties including reporting, filing and invoice verification, and communication with vendors.
Minimum Requirements:
● Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
● Must be able to obtain airport badge with US Customs clearance (CBP hologram)
● Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
● Must be able to operate a jet bridge
● Must pass JAL Dangerous Goods (DG) test
● Must be able to use Amadeus Altea System (a training will be provided)
● Must be proficiency in workplace productivity such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience in airline or travel industries
● Reservation (Amadeus) experience
● Flight operations (SO) experience
Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or higher
Physical Requirements:
● Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
● Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
● Prolonged periods of standing and walking
● Able to travel occasionally to domestic and international destinations
Pay: $：19.12 - $24.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
