Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced investment professional to join our global asset management team as a Private Equity Fund Investment Officer. This role focuses on evaluating and managing overseas private equity fund investments. Candidates must have prior experience as an equity analyst specializing in foreign equities and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
●Conduct due diligence and financial analysis of global private equity fund opportunities
●Assess fund strategies, performance metrics, and risk profiles
●Prepare investment proposals and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
●Monitor existing fund investments and maintain relationships with fund managers
●Collaborate with internal teams and overseas headquarters on investment strategy and reporting
●Stay informed on market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes affecting private equity
Required Qualifications:
●5–15 years of professional experience in investment analysis, private equity, or asset management
●Proven track record in evaluating and managing global private equity fund investments
●Prior experience as an equity analyst, with a focus on foreign equities
●Strong understanding of fund structures, due diligence processes, and portfolio monitoring
●Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and performance analysis
●Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment
●A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is required.
●Master’s degree or CFA designation is strongly preferred
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
●Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required
●Experience working at a Japanese company and familiarity with Japanese business culture is a strong plus.
●Must be able to commute to the office location.
