Your Role Overview:
Responsible for credit evaluation and deal maintenance for transactions in Trade and Commodity Finance and/or Aviation Finance.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
●Reviews potential transactions in Trade and Commodity Finance and/or Aviation Finance and prepares credit memos, applications, cash flow models, and other relevant material for underwriting purposes.
●Monitors assigned transactions to maintain credit quality through appropriate measures, i.e., financial analysis and trends, cross-sectional analysis, cashflow analysis and market value/liquidity.
●Ensures compliance with applicable investment guidelines and directives from Head Office and Branch Management.
●Prepares all applications and reports and makes recommendations on all amendments, waivers, refinancings and other ongoing activities.
●Responsible for all Head Office and Branch monitoring and reporting requirements, including rating review, business review of documentation, regulatory review, booking and financial and portfolio review requirements, with support from Operations Analyst as designated.
●May conduct business development activities such as managing or assisting to manage relationships with clients in assigned sector..
●May conduct or support deal structuring activities.
●Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Your Qualifications:
●Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent with 3+ years related experience in Trade & Commodity Finance, Aviation Finance, or Corporate Finance .
●Good knowledge of finance and basic accounting.
●Good knowledge of commonly used research resources, including Bloomberg, EDGAR, and rating agencies.
●Basic knowledge of corporate finance transactions.
●Basic knowledge of loan markets.
●Advanced in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access)and some modeling capabilities.
●Excellent oral and written communication skills.
