As a self-starter and innovative problem-solver, the Outside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving business growth by improving sales processes and expanding the customer base.
Essential Duties
Drive business development through proactive sales strategies and relationship-building.
Meet or exceed the assigned annual gross margin by promoting and selling products to complex accounts within the designated territory, in compliance with company pricing policies.
Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively; report potential claims as needed.
Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions by analyzing trends to identify growth opportunities.
Provide leadership and mentorship to new sales representatives, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage and support existing accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.
Train Sales Representative I staff on product knowledge and consultative sales approaches.
Coach Sales Representative I staff on conducting customer needs analyses.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Holidays: Saturdays & Sundays / National Holidays
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
Experience in business development and account management
Strong management, organizational, team-building, coaching, and mentoring skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record in outside sales, meeting or exceeding targets
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
