SUMMARY:
Primary liaison between our company and assigned client accounts. This role focuses on building
strong customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying growth opportunities
within existing accounts. Will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients while driving
revenue growth through exceptional service delivery and strategic account management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult or technical in nature- topics may cover recycling, sales and or procurement of different commodities- metallic, non-metallic, PGMs, batteries or others.
• Serves as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, proactively addressing
potential problems before they impact on the client relationship.
• Track account performance metrics and usage patterns, maintain detailed records of all client interactions and activities.
• Inventory management and teamwork with the warehouse operation- may require travel to operation site.
• Effectively and proactively communicate with suppliers and vendors.
• Striving for excellence in customer satisfaction.
• Preparation of regular reports on account status and growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support new business development and project activities, not limited to recycling.
• Creating projects data base with specified tools.
• Basic logistics knowledge required.
• Basic accounting tasks such as preparing quotations and POs, understanding of A/R and A/P, invoicing, others.
• Basic supply chain management such as engagement with customers and suppliers. Engagements may include topics related to logistics, sales, customer claims, others.
• Knows and applies fundamental concepts and procedures
• May travel to customer or supplier locations.
• Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory related activities to safely import and/or export any commodities.
• Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May train employees but does not supervise other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:
3 – 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS:
• Must have proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform basic Internet research. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools preferred- ability to learn/adapt to new software systems.
LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Must be able to fluently speak, write and read in English. Ability to read, write legibly and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Communication may include domestic suppliers and customers or Japanese suppliers and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to complete difficult assignments.
