Position Summary
We are seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations and strengthen our U.S. manufacturing site. The ideal candidate has experience in a parts manufacturing environment and can lead production, quality, safety, and team operations while maintaining strong communication with our Japan headquarters. Native-level Japanese is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall manufacturing operations, including production, quality, and safety
Manage daily workflow, staffing, and operational KPIs
Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
Coordinate with Japan headquarters on production planning, reporting, and technical issues
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Mentor and support local staff to build a strong plant culture
Prepare reports and documentation in Japanese and English
Handle occasional domestic business trips as needed
Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in a parts manufacturer or similar industrial environment
Strong leadership and hands-on operational management skills
Native-level Japanese (required)
Spanish language ability (nice to have)
Ability to handle flexible hours and occasional overtime
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
