Position Summary
We are seeking an Engineer to support our production operations, equipment maintenance, and machine tool–related activities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in either production control, equipment maintenance, or machine tool operation/engineering. This role requires close communication with our Japan headquarters and on-site teams; therefore, native-level Japanese is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support production planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for production equipment
Coordinate machine tool installation, inspection, and improvement activities
Analyze production performance and propose process improvements
Communicate with Japan teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
Prepare reports and documentation in Japanese and English
Participate in domestic business trips (1–2 times per month)
Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in machine tools, production control, or maintenance
Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering skills
Native Japanese proficiency (required)
Ability to work collaboratively across operations and engineering teams
Willingness to travel domestically
