Position Summary
We are seeking a senior-level Sales Manager with strong experience in the automotive industry and in-vehicle lighting systems. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and strengthening long-term relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, proven leadership in sales, and the ability to work closely with executive management to expand the company’s market presence in North America.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute mid- to long-term sales and business strategies for automotive lighting products
Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets
Build, manage, and expand strong relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 customers
Act as a strategic partner to customers by understanding their technical and business needs
Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to deliver effective customer solutions
Prepare and present sales performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management
Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, competitive landscape, and new automotive lighting technologies
Support and mentor junior sales team members as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive sales industry, preferably in a senior or managerial role
Hands-on experience and knowledge of in-vehicle / automotive lighting systems
Strong understanding of automotive industry regulations, standards, and sales processes
Proven ability to drive the full sales cycle from strategic planning through deal closure
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all organizational levels
Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with North American automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
Background in launching new products or developing new automotive markets
Experience working in a global or cross-cultural business environment
Work Conditions
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Work Location: Hybrid (on-site presence required)
Location: Wixom, MI 48393
Travel: Approximately 25% (preferred)
