Japanese automotive supplier is seeking a Japanese/English bilingual sales representative.
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts while developing new business opportunities within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, supporting ongoing programs, and coordinating internally to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
Develop new business opportunities with automotive customers.
Prepare quotations and support RFQ activities in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
Coordinate internally with production, engineering, quality, and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
Support price negotiations and contract discussions.
Participate in customer meetings, plant visits, and industry events.
Assist with program launches and ongoing production support.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of sales experience (automotive industry experience preferred but not required).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Japanese and English bilingual required (business level preferred).
Certifications
