SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing and achieving department goals and results
in alignment with Company strategy and initiatives manage, train and develop department employees , and
create and monitor department budget .

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
 Hire, manage, train, and evaluate Quality Assurance department personnel using performance management and corrective action tools to ensure effective productivity and customer service
 Develop, train, and enforce company quality standards, inspections & test protocols for production materials, and out sourced products
 Manage and maintain regulatory changes and deadlines to ensure all import, domestic, and export products are 100% compliant
 Assist operations management, suppliers and customers to analyze quality problems and develop corrective action plans
 Assist sales and vendor compliance to assure customer requirements such as external audits, external product inspections, and external lab tests are completed within prescribed deadlines
 Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders using multiple tools to ensure effective visual communication
 Perform similar level or nature of duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience; and,
 Three 3 ) years’ supervisory experience; and,
 Four (4 ) years’ experience with quality assurance

Knowledge of:
 Management principles
 Budgeting principles
 Quality standards and industry best practices
 Research and application resources and techniques of product compliance
 Basic financial reports such as profit and loss
 Product specifications and terminology
Skill in:
 Using computer hardware, including keyboard, mouse, monitor, and related hardware
 Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
 Perform intermediate math, using Microsoft Excel to find percentage, average, median, quartile, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and range values
Ability to:
 Present data and information in a variety of methods
 Continuously challenge oneself and others to improve better operating practices
 Act with urgency
 Prepare reports using a variety of methods from multiple sources of data
 Review data and ensuring accuracy and timeliness and relevancy
