Position Description:
The Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple audit engagements, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and delivering high‑quality service to clients. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities:
●Oversee and manage multiple audit and attestation engagements, ensuring compliance with GAAS, SSARS, and firm policies.
● Review and analyze complex client information, including financial statements, to obtain reasonable assurance for attestation engagements.
● Supervise, mentor, and evaluate audit staff; provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
● Develop, review, and approve audit plans based on comprehensive risk assessments.
● Lead all phases of the attestation engagement process, from planning to completion.
● Review and analyze client data to prepare or oversee the preparation of financial statements and other deliverables. Provide expert guidance on appropriate presentation and disclosures.
● Identify auditing, accounting, and engagement process issues; propose and implement effective solutions.
● Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams to maintain strong business relationships.
● Respond to complex client inquiries and provide consultation on technical matters.
● Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
● Contribute to process improvements and support business development initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
To qualify, candidate must have:
●A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university is required.
●A CPA license is required.
●Minimum 5 years of audit experience in public accounting, including supervisory experience.
●Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (spoken, written, and reading).
●Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS.
●Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
●Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Word.
●Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
●Ability to manage multiple engagements and supervise staff effectively.
●Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION:
$100K-$150K DOE
*Candidates with expectations above the provided range will not be considered. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
