Position Overview
• Act as PMO lead supporting governance in a large-scale system implementation, focusing on executive reporting, cross-workstream progress, and risk/issue control.
• Drive structured, insight-driven reporting to enable timely executive decision-making.
• Ensure end-to-end project visibility by consolidating workstream status, risks, and dependencies, maintaining stakeholder alignment.
• Advise the project manager by proactively identifying key risks and supporting resolution strategies.

Project Summary
• The Middleware system with business logic upgrade project aims to retire the legacy Middleware system by migrating its embedded business logic and processing functions to target platforms as part of the core banking system upgrade, reducing complexity and improving system maintainability.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead executive status reporting, providing concise updates on progress, milestones, risks, and issues.
• Standardize workstream tracking to ensure alignment with overall timelines and deliverables.
• Establish and govern risk/issue management processes, including identification, escalation, and mitigation tracking.
• Analyze risks, issues, and dependencies, supporting timely decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and follow-ups to mitigate delays.
• Act as liaison among leadership, workstream leads, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and reporting for better transparency and efficiency.
• Extensive experience in project management or PMO roles within system implementation projects.
• Proven track record in project status tracking, risk and issue management, and executive reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing executive-level materials (e.g., presentations, dashboards) with high attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions.
• Proficiency in project management tools and documentation (e.g., WBS, RAID logs, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional project environment.
• Experience in acting as a PMO lead or managing junior PMO members.
• Experience in large-scale or global system implementation projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with project governance frameworks and structured reporting processes.
• Experience supporting steering committees or executive-level governance forums.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Experience working in multicultural and cross-regional environments.
• Knowledge of core banking systems or large enterprise applications is a plus.
• Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is a plus.
• Degree in Bachelor or above, OR equivalent practical experience.
• N/A (Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification are considered a strong advantage)
