The Company's US subsidiary supports the brand's expansion in the United States. We are a small, high-conviction team operating with the speed of a startup and the aesthetic standards of a luxury house.

The Vision:
At the Company, we create clothing and lifestyle products that combine vintage inspiration with a forward-looking perspective. As we accelerate our U.S. growth, we are looking for an Accounting Manager who embodies our spirit of authenticity and innovation.

Inspired by the highest standards of global luxury, this role is more than "keeping the books." You will be a strategic guardian of our financial integrity, translating complex data into a compelling narrative that empowers our leadership to dream bigger and execute better. You will bridge the creative energy of our North America operations with the precision of our Japan headquarters.

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions; implement and enforce internal controls appropriate for a growing startup
Manage accounts payable: vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment scheduling, and expense report approvals
Process and reconcile multi-currency transactions (JPY/USD) for intercompany inventory purchases from Japan HQ

Coordinate US federal and state income tax filings with external CPA firm
Manage sales tax registration, collection, and remittance across all US states where nexus is established (e-commerce)
Support import/customs financial processes: duty payments, customs bond management, intercompany pricing documentation
Maintain all corporate records: entity documentation (Delaware C-Corp), annual state filings, registered agent coordination

Build and maintain the annual operating budget and rolling quarterly forecasts
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions: e-commerce, store P&L modeling
Prepare intercompany reconciliations and support transfer pricing documentation with Japan HQ
Assist in audit preparation (if applicable) and respond to financial due diligence requests

■Systems & Process

Integrate accounting systems with Shopify (e-commerce revenue reconciliation), POS (retail), and payroll (PEO)
Establish SOPs for all core accounting processes; document and train future staff as the team grows
Partner with the PEO provider on benefits administration, annual enrollment, and employee changes

■Collaboration
Act as the primary financial point of contact for all US vendors, landlords, banking relationships, and government agencies

Support the CEO/VP on ad hoc financial analysis, board reporting, and investor/partner inquiries
