Company Overview
A leading global supplier of electronic components is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to expand its North American presence. The company specializes in high-quality capacitors, surge protection devices, and LCD-related solutions, offering unique advantages in the competitive electronics market.

Position Summary
The Sales Representative will focus on new business development within the Midwest market, targeting component representatives and distributors. The role requires prior experience in electronic components or engineering, combined with strong business development skills to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities for capacitors, surge protection devices, and related electronic components.
Identify and expand relationships with component representatives, distributors, and engineering teams.
Manage sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a strong focus on the Midwest region.
Promote integrated solutions including LCD products, leveraging a unique competitive advantage.
Collaborate with the Vice President and internal teams to develop strategic sales initiatives.
Travel for customer visits, trade shows, and business meetings (approx. 1–2 overnight trips per month).

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or Business).
5+ years of sales experience in electronic components or related industries.
Knowledge of electronic parts and engineering concepts strongly preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Must be commutable to Valparaiso, IN
Japanese language ability not required.

Compensation & Incentives:Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (DOE)
