Overview:
A Japanese food manufacturer is seeking a Sales & Account Manager to expand its customer base and manage existing accounts within the food industry. This role focuses on developing new restaurant clients, maintaining strong relationships with current customers, and supporting overall sales growth. The ideal candidate has solid experience in the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
●Develop new business opportunities, including new restaurant account acquisition
●Manage and grow existing customer accounts
●Conduct client visits, presentations, and product introductions
●Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, restaurants, and food-related businesses
●Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
●Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis
●Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
●Other tasks as assigned, including additional sales‑related responsibilities.
Qualifications( Required ):
● Minimum of 3 years of sales or related experience in the food industry or a closely related field.
●Proven ability to develop new restaurant accounts
●Cooperative, team-oriented, and able to work long-term
●Strong communication and interpersonal skills
●Ability to work independently and as part of a team
●Strong organizational and time‑management skills
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
●Ability to travel for business as needed/ Mileage reimbursement or car allowance provided
● Must have valid authorization to work in the United States
