Position Summary
A growing Japanese restaurant dedicated to delivering authentic flavors, excellent service, and a cozy & warm dining experience is looking for a reliable, hands-on Restaurant Manager / Kitchen Manager who can lead daily operations, support staff, and maintain high standards in both the front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities
・Supervise daily restaurant and kitchen operations
・Train, schedule, and support FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House)
・Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
・Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
・Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage food/operational costs
・Assist with menu execution and kitchen workflow
・Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly
・Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
・Work closely with ownership to improve operations and guest satisfaction
・Follow and execute tasks as directed by the owner, including operational decisions and special assignments
Qualifications
・Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Lead Cook preferred
・Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
・Ability to lead and motivate a team
・Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
・Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
・Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus (training available)
・Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
・Bilingual in Japanese and English is a big plus

・Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
・Monday: Closed
・Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
・Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
・Thursday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
・Friday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
・Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Work Hours
Employee work shifts are scheduled within the restaurant’s operating hours.
Employee work shifts begin 30 minutes prior to the restaurant’s opening time and conclude approximately 30 minutes after closing, to allow for preparation and end‑of‑day duties. Staff meal will be provided one per work day.
