JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading the Company's full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition efforts and for designing, coordinating, and delivering employee training and development programs, in support of both the US and overseas branch offices. This role partners closely with hiring managers and department leaders to attract, hire, onboard, develop, and offboard talent throughout the employee lifecycle in support of the Company's growth and strategic goals.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate HR staff.
• May assist with and conduct constructive, timely performance evaluations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
● Manages the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, and extending offers.
● Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop accurate job descriptions, and define candidate requirements.
● Builds and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through staffing agencies and employee referrals.
● Develops and promotes the Company's employer brand to attract a diverse, qualified candidate pool.
● Coordinates and conducts background checks, drug tests, and other pre-employment screenings.
● Manages the applicant tracking and maintains accurate, compliant recruiting records in accordance with EEO/OFCCP requirements.
● Tracks and reports on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness, and recommends improvements to hiring strategy.
● Coordinates new hire onboarding, including offer paperwork, orientation scheduling, and first-day logistics.
Training & Development
● Designs, coordinates, and delivers new-employee orientation and onboarding programs.
● Partners with department managers to assess training needs and develop an annual training and development plan.
● Coordinates and/or delivers training on Company policies, required compliance topics (e.g., harassment prevention, workplace safety), and professional development.
● Coordinates with our Corporation and other affiliates on training and certification programs for Field Service Engineers, including requirements for customer site access and ID badging.
● Maintains accurate training records and tracks completion of required and compliance-related training.
● Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and recommends improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
● Administers professional development and certification programs.
● Identifies opportunities for leadership development and succession planning in partnership with management.
Offboarding & Employee Separation
● Manages the offboarding process for voluntary and involuntary separations, including resignation, termination, and layoff documentation.
● Conducts exit interviews to gather feedback and identify trends related to retention and engagement.
● Coordinates the return of Company property (e.g., laptops, badges, keys, mobile devices) and ensures timely deactivation of system access and credentials.
● Partners with Payroll, IT, and department managers to ensure timely processing of final pay, benefits continuation (e.g., COBRA), and unemployment claims.
● Ensures separation practices comply with applicable federal, state, local, and international employment laws and Company policy.
● Maintains accurate offboarding records and documentation in accordance with Company policy and legal requirements.
● Communicates offboarding timelines, requirements, and expectations to departing employees and their managers.
● Analyzes turnover trends and exit interview data to inform retention and engagement strategies.
Immigration & Global Support
• Coordinate immigration-related matters and documentation for international employees and work assignments (e.g., visas, sponsorships).
• Collaborate with global HR teams (e.g., Japan, Germany, Ireland, Israel) to support employee assignments, travel compliance, and cross-border processes.
General HR Support
• Advises management on effective recruiting, retention, and training practices.
• Assists in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures related to talent acquisition and training.
• Ensures recruiting and training practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., EEO, ADA).
• Handles employee inquiries related to recruiting, onboarding, training, and offboarding programs.
• Performs other human resources duties and projects as assigned by Company management.
• Maintains high ethical standards and confidentiality in the workplace.
• Maintains good communication with supervisors, staff members, and outside partners.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
Other Responsibilities
• Continuously assess administrative needs and propose improvements to enhance HR operations and efficiencies.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects and serve as a resource for organizational change initiatives.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition and/or training and development.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or ATD certification preferred but not required.
