Detail: Japanese company seeks for an Accounting staff.
General Position Summary
This position to perform day-to-day accounting function and assist Accounting & Operation Director.
Essential Job Functions
Accounting
• Processes and manages A/R including issuing invoices, checking deposits and the balance with financial statement, and following up on overdue A/R accounts.
• Processes insurance compensation for cargo damage and adds up disposal fee on invoice.
• Support develops the annual sales budget based on budget reports from sales managers.
• Prepares quarterly and annual reconciliation for intercompany & Check report
• Maintains and updates general ledger and sales journal.
• Processes accounting receivables and incoming payments.
• Prepares and fact-check invoices prior to sending them to customers.
• Inputs A/P logistics fee data in system property.
• Prepares factoring application documents and ensures receipt of invoice.
• Prepare monthly order and sale reports and monthly production cost reports.
• Organize accounting documents and other documents (AP & AR)
• Supports the half year and the year-end financial audit.
• Approves and processes wire transfer requests after approval from Sr. Accounting & Director.
• Keeps sensitive information confidential and follows internal measures for financial security.
• Identifies ways to streamline accounting operations and ways to improve the department.
• Receives invoice from the parent company and communicates with sales and other to process Invoice.
• Oversees inventory in warehouse and maintains inventory records of any changes.
• Supports Accounting & Operation Direct for the year-end inventory reconciliation.
Miscellaneous
• Performs, collects and updates necessary documentation, filing and listing.
• Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning & printing, sending/receiving fax and letters etc.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to manager(s) and works to resolve those issues.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or certification such as certified public accountant (CPA).
• DIVA/GMS system, preferred.
EXPERIENCE
• Three to five-year experience of accounting.
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
• General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, scanner, personal computer, calculator, etc.
• Software includes the use of Windows operating system and MS Office applications.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• Domestic or international travel may be required.

• Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with small noise level.
