Position Summary
The Honda Program Manager is responsible for managing harness and connector programs for Honda platforms and model years. This role provides technical and scheduling support throughout all phases of the program lifecycle. Working under the direction of the Japanese OEM Sales Manager, the Program Manager coordinates and manages programs through the prototype, development, production, and delivery phases after the design-in process has been completed. The Program Manager serves as the primary interface with the customer, ensuring that program progress, capacity issues, production concerns, and delivery requirements are properly managed and communicated. The role also requires coordinating across multiple internal departments to ensure that Honda’s requirements and expectations are understood and fulfilled. In addition to program management, the role includes commercial responsibilities, such as annual price reduction negotiations and pricing for new products. Additional sales responsibilities may be assigned depending on departmental workload.

Key Responsibilities
1.Manage Honda-related programs and projects.
2.Report program progress, details, and issues to both customers and relevant internal departments.
3.Identify critical business issues and facilitate their resolution.
4.Serve as the liaison between the customer and internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
5.Manage commercial activities for assigned customers.
6.Provide sales and booking forecasts for Honda programs and other assigned customers.

Qualifications
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:1–3 years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas:
•Automotive sales
•Program management
•Applications engineering
•Technical sales

Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
•Connector and harness component materials
•Electrical and electronic signal fundamentals
•Injection molding and metal stamping processes
•Connector and assembly design for automotive applications
•Familiarity with Honda processes and Honda portal systems
