Job Description:
We are seeking a Slitting Operator to support the production and handling of flexible packaging materials, primarily food-grade packaging films. This role is responsible for operating slitting equipment, managing material flow, and ensuring product quality meets required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate slitting machines to cut and process packaging film materials to specified widths
Inspect materials during and after processing to ensure quality compliance
Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against documentation
Prepare and organize finished goods for shipment
Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records
Perform basic quality control checks and report any defects or irregularities
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations preferred
Ability to operate or learn machine equipment (slitting or similar)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Basic understanding of inventory handling and material flow
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
